This 5-story, 200,000 sf expansion added four levels of underground parking, a 40-bed emergency trauma center, six new operating rooms, and a new acute care center. ABKJ introduced the SidePlate system for connecting steel beams and columns, which saved the owner more than $1 million and provided flexibility for four more floors of future vertical expansion.
